A life of service
Don’s service has taken many forms: helping travelers, serving veterans, supporting adults with disabilities, volunteering in his community, and helping local Democratic candidates connect with voters.
After years spent supporting other candidates while building his career, retirement has given Don the opportunity to step forward and serve directly.
I spent many years helping other candidates because I believed in building a stronger New Hampshire. Now that I am retired, I have the time to serve directly. I am running to protect our public schools, support local taxpayers, care for our veterans, preserve the state I love, and make sure Belmont, Sanbornton, and Tilton have a strong voice in Concord.Read Don’s story
A reason Don is running
Strong public schools matter to children, families, local communities, and New Hampshire’s future. Don believes the state should be a stronger partner in funding public education so local property taxpayers are not left carrying so much of the burden.

Belmont, Sanbornton, and Tilton each have their own character and priorities. Don believes representation should begin by listening to each community, respecting local knowledge, and making sure state decisions do not create unnecessary burdens for towns and taxpayers.
Belmont is planning for growth, infrastructure, recreation, and the protection of natural and historic community assets.
Sanbornton is examining housing needs while residents continue to emphasize rural character, open space, roads, and basic services.
Tilton is a regional center where local services, commerce, historic places, recreation, and community spaces meet.
Priorities
Don’s developing priorities reflect a commitment to public schools, local taxpayers, veterans, strong communities, responsible government, and the stewardship of New Hampshire’s natural character.
